This Review of Local Finance is meant to be a space for dissemination of the findings of the Observatory of Local Finance, a place for debate, exchange of ideas and experience, and benchmarking open to anyone interested in the local finance in Africa, starting with the professionals of the AFRICA FINET Network, but obviously also local officials, central governments officials, representatives of African integration institutions, development banks, financial institutions, and members of the academia, in short, all the stakeholders who, directly or indirectly, have influence over the status and destiny of local governments finance in Africa, or stakeholders who have some reflected in some articulated manner on the issue of local governments finance.
